Adenomyosis is a gynaecological condition that affects up to 1 in 10 menstruators. The most common theory is that adenomyosis results from the migration of ectopic endometriotic tissue into the myometrium (the smooth muscle layer of the uterus). The presence of endometrial glands and stroma in the myometrium changes the architecture of the uterus, increasing the thickness of the uterus wall leading to an enlarged bulky womb. Adenomyosis requires lifelong management as it can have negative impacts on the quality of an individual’s life in terms of their menstrual cycle and fertility.
Many menstruators aren’t aware they have adenomyosis
The condition may affect 20% to 65% of females with a womb
Adenomyosis typically occurs in menstruators between the ages of 35 and 50 who have:
- At least one pregnancy
- Uterine fibroids
Use tincture drops twice daily all month long – 10 drops in juice or water morning and night. For optimal results, place directly under the tongue.
Take tincture daily across the entire month, not just whilst menstruating or experiencing a flare up of symptoms.
Tincture helps to balance hormonal health, invigorate your blood, increase energy, regulate menstruation as well as reduce any pain or discomfort during your menstrual cycle.
Benefits accumulate with each cycle of use!

Known in the Western world as White Peony Root or by its scientific name, Paeoniae Radix, Bai Shao tonifies the blood, and is a potent antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. It’s known to help soften and calm the liver to relieve period pain and muscle cramps. Bai Shao may also produce anti-inflammatory effects that contribute to its analgesic effects. It can inhibit the production of inflammatory mediators and proinflammatory cytokines*.

Glycyrrhiza glabra, or Gan Cao, produces a spasmolytic effect on uterine contraction, thereby relaxing the uterus and reducing cramping. With a harmonising effect, it helps to relieve painful menstruation and improve progesterone production. When White Peony is combined together with Gan Cao, these active ingredients have a beneficial effect in the treatment of adenomyosis. Adenomyosis has been found to be associated with abnormal endometrial proliferation. These two herbs reduce proliferation of human adenomyosis-derived cells, which could prevent the formation of new adenomyotic lesions. Both herbs suppress prostaglandin activity alleviating dysmenorrhea and pain alleviation.*
